Founded in 2022 by Priya Nambiar and Sujatha T, RF Nritya Taranga Dance Academy stands grounded by the passion and dedication with which it is run. Dance is the art that develops a person individually, physically, emotionally, and artistically. Expressing our emotions and skills through dance enables us to thoroughly embrace our passion and devotion to dance. While dancing and having fun, we thrive in expressing our unique personalities and artistry to ourselves and the world.
At RF Nritya Taranga Dance Academy we firmly believe that dance is not just a few steps and moves to music, but that it is a whole world in itself which nurtures a person and their passion and purpose to a whole new level.
Be it an amateur or an expert we accept all making sure that nobody is left behind, from helping you understand the true essence of dance to guiding you with the right technique and approach, proving committed teaching & training classes with leading masters in the profession, to organizing various stage shows and some unforgettable field trips to world renown venues, and providing performance opportunities.
Helping others to completely express themselves through dance and providing them with the space to show off their skill and talent is what motivated us to create this community that upholds and uplifts others through the medium of dance.
Starting my dance journey at a very early age and later graduating with an MBA in HR and Marketing, my zeal for dance never faded over the years instead it grew with more passion.
Having received encouragement and support from my family on my interest to dance, I moved to Chennai Pallapuram in the year 2010 to gain more understanding and practical knowledge of various dance forms under the guidance of renowned dance professionals in the same field.
While in Chennai my growing interest in classical dances and their smooth and graceful style of movement, and the meaning behind each of the forms attracted me deeper. My passionate love of movement in dance led me to start RF Nrithya Taraga dance academy.
Being a source of encouragement to my daughter Priya in pursuing her dream in the field of dance, is what enabled me to take up different roles like being a Home Maker, as well as the Managing Director & overseer of all the administrative work in the academy.
